Mr. Ike Pace, PE, CCP has more than 25 years of experience providing technical support to federal, state, municipal, and private clients in the areas of water resources management, planning and designing of levees and dams, river restoration, fish passage, flood control, flood mitigation analysis, and cost engineering, He has provided structural engineering support for numerous flood control elements including retaining walls, floodwalls, rectangular channels, trapezoidal channels, and side drain inlets. He has also been highly involved in the Structural Design Criteria Review for the Periodic Inspection of Federal Levees, which allows him to stay current with the latest USACE EMs, ERs, and ETLs. In addition, Ike has more than 20 years of experience managing and performing cost engineering in support of numerous Corps of Engineers Districts’ Civil Works programs through IDIQ contracts. In executing task orders through these contracts, Ike has provided cost engineering support for numerous flood control projects. These contracts have enabled him to gain valuable experience with MCACES, Microsoft Projects, and Crystal Ball, including the preparation of cost estimates and cost and schedule risk analyses on virtually all types of civil works projects across the nation. Ike has provided cost engineering support on projects ranging from conceptual alternative analysis level, to feasibility level, like engineering and design level, to final plans & specifications level for use as the independent government estimate when comparing contractor construction bids.
