In that capacity, he is responsible for large multidisciplinary levee evaluation projects. Mr. Williams is responsible for developing work scopes for small to large levee evaluations as well as preparing and implementing large field exploration programs based on research of existing reports and information, geologic and geomorphic interpretation, and input from geophysics. His work includes performing settlement analysis, computer seepage and slope stability analysis, and preparation of geotechnical reports that meet regulatory requirements (including Problem Identification Reports, Alternative Analysis Reports, and Basis of Design Reports). His experience includes implementation of quality control testing and observation programs during construction of levee improvements including levee embankment construction, soil bentonite and soil cement bentonite cutoff walls (conventional slurry trench and deep soil mix methods), and seepage and stability berms.
