Greg Shaffer is a Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) with Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE). He has extensive engineering and management experience on large and small scale domestic and international projects. Greg’s technical expertise includes hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, dam breach modeling and inundation mapping, probabilistic flood hazard assessments, flood frequency analyses, structural stability analyses for dams and hydraulic structures, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling, spillway design and remediation, engineering assessments, and dam safety inspections.
