Ken Barry, PE, BC WRE, F ASCE is a Principal with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has over 40 years of diverse experience in planning, executing, and managing civil, water resource, and environmental engineering projects with an emphasis on stream restoration, wetland mitigation, flood modeling, stormwater management, water quality modeling, and erosion and sediment control projects. Ken received a BS in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a MS in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University. A native of Lebanon, Tennessee, Ken is a long-time active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (Past President of the Tennessee Section, current Chair of the Section History and Heritage Committee), ASCE’s Environmental and Water Resources Institute (Past Chair of the EWRI TN Chapter), as well as the Tennessee Section of the American Water Resources Association. He was also formerly on the board of the East Tennessee Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers and served as treasurer of the East Tennessee Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies. He currently serves on the board of directors of the East Tennessee Economic Council.
