Hadush S Hagos is Assistant State Dam Safety Engineer at North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). He is a registered Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in dam design, construction supervision, rehabilitation, and dam safety in different countries including USA, India, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Guyana. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in 1999 and Ph.D. degree in 2002 in Civil/ Geotechnical Engineering from Gifu University. Japan. Hadush also worked for 6 years as an Assistant Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. From NC DEQ side, over the past 2 years Hadush managed the State-wide PMP study closely working with the Applied Weather Associates (AWA).
