Michael Quinn, P.E. Bio
Michael is a senior geotechnical engineer with Schnabel Engineering working within the firms dam engineering practice. Michael has over 30 years of experience working on dam rehabilitation investigation and design projects, forensic investigations, dam safety inspections and hazard classification. He has provided forensic analysis of dam failures including the 2005 Hadlock Pond dam, the 2006 McGregor dam, the 2006 Kaloko dam and more recently the 2023 Jennings Pond dam. His experience also extends to levee systems where Michael has performed levee improvement designs to control through and under seepage beneath earthen and concrete T-wall levee sections. His work includes projects within the New Orleans Hurricane Damage and Risk Reduction System (HDRRS) and the Williston Levee and Protective Works (Williston, ND).
