Janis Murphy is an Associate with Freese and Nichols, Inc., with more than 40 years of experience. She is one of Texas' most reliable and diverse project managers for dam-related engineering projects. She is one of Freese and Nichols’ senior project managers whose experience includes the study, design and inspection of water resources-related structures. She has been Project Manager and Project Engineer for numerous dam inspections, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and the preparation of emergency action plans for dams, as well as the rehabilitation design and construction management support for dozens of dams across Texas, with construction costs totaling more than $250 million.
